Presenting to your audience without interruptions could be a struggle especially if you are doing lengthy product presentations. Interruptions, both relevant and irrelevant questions can sometimes cause you to lose focus on the things that you are discussing for the meantime. Some folks in your audience would simply ask nuisance questions to test how focused and determined you are at delivering your presentation or telling your story.
Avoid Getting In Detail When Presenting To Your Audience
When you begin to answer audience questions in detail, there is a tendency to ask some more – to the point of being away from the topic or losing focus on the things that you need to present. Also, when you are getting into a lot of details you will find yourself away from your own words and get lost. To avoid interruptions, answer straight to the point or note the things that needs to be answered and answer them at the end of the presentation.
